| Jane Hickman
has been making Batik paintings and designs for the past twenty
years. She was first introduced to the technique when
studying at Art School. In the early 1980s she began to
produce her first Batik paintings and to sell them through galleries
and craft exhibitions.
In 1986, together with
her husband, she moved from Oxford to Herefordshire to set up
her own studio. In 1987 she produced her first range of
greetings cards and this range has continued to develop.
More recently she has been producing a range of prints based on
her Batik designs and Ken Hickman's paintings. |
