Scarves
The
scarves are designed by Jane Hickman and are printed by a specialist fabric
printing workshop, The Silk Bureau, in Worcestershire. Each scarf design
is produced from her original Batik paintings. The range includes both
silk and velvet scarves.
The silk
scarves are printed using acid dyes and the velvet scarves are printed
with reactive dyes.
The silk
fabric is 100% Crêpe de Chine, and the velvet is 68% viscose velvet
+ 32% silk. After printing and processing each silk scarf is hand rolled.
The velvet scarves are double skinned and machine finished.
