At last the new silk scarves have arrived. Sadly our excellent printer in Evesham, who had printed our scarves for the last 20 odd years went into liquidation in February, just as we were about to order. By the end of April we had found an alternative printer in Macclesfield, and with fingers and toes crossed we went ahead - hoping for a good outcome. At last, after four months we've received some of the scarves. The fabric, though still 100% silk crepe de chine, feels slightly different, the colours are a touch stronger, and this batch has hand rolled hems. We had to re design some of them as we didn't have copies of all our old designs, so there are differences, but we generally feel very pleased with them - and hope you do too.
